Frequently asked questions
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Words, lessons and the question bank are stored on your device. You only need the internet to create an account, sign in and back up your progress to the cloud.
Which exams is it for?
YDS, YÖKDİL (Social Sciences, Science, Health) and YDT, Turkey's national English exams. The content covers academic English from A1 to C1.
Is it paid?
It is free to download and part of the content is open to everyone. Locked sections can be opened temporarily by choosing to watch a rewarded ad. Buying Premium removes locks and ads. Price and scope are shown in the app before you buy.
Are these ÖSYM's past exam questions?
No. All questions and texts were written originally for the app; only the YDS question format is used as a model.
Are you affiliated with ÖSYM?
No. YDS Matik is an independent education app developed by LUSGA LTD. It has no connection, sponsorship or partnership with ÖSYM, YÖK or any other official body.
Can I use it on iPhone?
Not yet. The iOS version is in preparation; for now the app is available only on Google Play.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings (Ayarlar) → Delete my account and data (Hesabımı ve Verilerimi Sil), or email info@ydsmatik.com with the subject "Account deletion request". Details are in the Privacy Policy.
